Well, really, thank you for providing all of us with this place. I enjoy the fact that it is a nice cozy community. I wonder if subconsciously - I don't wanna share it.

But a few hundred people more would probably be good for us and great for you. And, once that happens, new additions might readily escalate. The one hundredth monkey and all of that.

Exactly what I think re: the 100th monkey. Also, more people = more interesting topics and points of view. We are never going to be a gigantic DU-type behemoth until the political tenor of the country changes, but we should be bigger than this.

I would love to help! I am grateful to have a place other than DU to post. There are plenty of true progressives out there, but they need to hear about the board. If so, you should have a decent base. I'll do my part if I meet progressives.

Thank you, Mattd! That's fantastic. I always try to spread the word whenever I meet people who seem receptive.

Here's something I should have mentioned before. I have OET business cards with our logo and url. If anyone is going to a large event where they will meet lots of people, let me know ahead of time and I will mail you a stack of cards to hand out.
