What this entire thing was - from a "peoples" viewpoint - was a populist uprising. That cannot be tolerated or allowed in Imperial America. Those days are long gone. This re-call was frowned upon by all parties involved.

Major kudos to the unions and progressives in Wisconsin for keeping up the fight. But the national party didn't want to have a damn thing to do with this.

Oh, and once again, the president must have forgotten his "walking shoes".
