Nearly 44 years after the June 1968 assassination of U.S. presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, a Canadian woman who was at the scene of the crime has emerged as a key witness in a bid by convicted assassin Sirhan Sirhan to gain release from prison or be granted a new trial in the case.

A U.S. federal appeals court is currently examining submissions from Sirhan's legal team that argue the original prosecution in the case suppressed ballistic evidence and eyewitness accounts - including from the Canadian woman - that suggested there was a second shooter.

Nina Rhodes-Hughes, a 78-yearold retired actress from California who now lives on Bowen Island near Vancouver, was a volunteer on Kennedy's campaign when he was fatally shot in a kitchen pantry at the Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968.

Rhodes-Hughes told CNN she heard at least 12 shots that day - not eight as argued by the prosecutors who convicted Sirhan as the lone gunman - and her recollections are now central to a legal challenge aimed at reopening the case and, ultimately, winning Sirhan's freedom.

Rhodes-Hughes told CNN she believes Sirhan - 24 at the time of the assassination and now 68 - "was absolutely there. I don't feel he should be exonerated."

But she insisted her original witness statement - that there were more than eight shots fired - was "twisted" during Sirhan's prosecution and that "there was definitely another shooter."

Sirhan was a brainwashed patsy meant to draw attention away from the actual killer, Thain Caesar who was a thug on the Bush Crime Family /J. Edna Hoover payroll. The fatal shot entered Bobby's skull just below his right ear, which would have been impossible from where Sirhan was standing, and the powder burns on RFK's neck are evidence that the gun would have been far closer to him than Sirhan ever got.

Fortunately, most of the world recognizes the conspiracies of the RW political violence we've had in America -- overtly -- over the last 50 years. Not that that was the beginning of RW violence nor the end of it

True -- and once again private investigators came up with the answers very quickly -- Thain Caesar.

Multiple witnesses reported a second shooter and the bullet holes and injuries all point to a second shooter and many more shots than the 8 from the pistol Sirhan fired.

Only thing I disagree with is re Hoover -- think his name was "MARY" -- !!


Was just trying to follow Mae Brussel's very early report on Hoover's connections to Nazis via YoutTube today, but will have to get back to it tomorrow. ITT, Ford, IBM and all the other companies that profited from the rise of Hitler and the Nazis -- and "Project Paperclip."

Takes a lot of denial to ignore all of the evidence re Allen Dulles and his secret organizations to fund Hitler, along with Prescott Bush, of course.

Dulles collected money from elites all over the world and converted US dollars into gold to be shipped to Nazis.

Basically, fascism didn't end after WWII -- they all simply moved out to other countries around the world -- including the US.
