My dad worked for a company who was taken over and pretty much treated this way back in the 80s. I think there are a lot of victims, both adult and children at the time, of this type of corporate piracy/theft who may still be upset or angry who would vote against Romney on this issue alone but I doubt the democrats will make much noise about it.

This is such a sad thing. The kind of piracy practiced by Bain Capital is a big factor in the deindustrialization of America discussed here:

And yet, in spite of being a huge contributor to the downfall of this country, and having done it solely to enrich himself and his partners - a truly diabolical level of greed - this leech goes around claiming that he "turned companies around." A turn around is not the same as driving a company into the ground.

Sadly, many people will hear his sound bites and think that he's just what the country needs. They don't want to dig deeper, not even to watch a 2:50 video. They don't want their assumptions challenged and they don't want to acknowledge the complexity of life. I had a conversation with one yesterday, and it was like he had his fingers in his ears, saying, "I can't hear you, I can't hear you," faster and faster like a scared child.

I love Robert Reich, in large part because he is a fantastic teacher. But how do we get through to these people? Will they watch it? Very few. Will they listen to us explain it, with Reich's outline? Very few.

Of course, Reich did this video for MoveOn, so it will be used to elect Obama. But it could be used as part of a series to explain how the l% and the Money Party (as Michael Collins calls it) have worked against the best interests of the entire rest of the country because they are immeasurably greedy.
