My position is, I'm all for protesting and occupying the banks. It appears that this action is organized by OFA, which wouldn't surprise me since Move On sold their souls for access to lunch with Rahm and cronies once a week. I'm all for Occupy. I'm all for jailing the bankers, and a lot of politicians who aided and abetted this catastrophe. What I'm not for, is participating in a re-election rally disguised as a protest. |

The one for Portland tells that it will be a sidewalk protest outside BofA. Very clear. You're right Tampa needed better connections, seems perhaps the OFA ( a rep therein) co-opted that meetup, but anyone could've had an event that could've been better. But perhaps you're wrong, it's just hard to tell. My understanding is that this is against Obama, it's called "yeshecan" and is supposedly related to the 99% if not OWS. I'm surprised they aren't protesting against OFA rather than with. I'm still not seeing what you're seeing as this protest being with OFA, though I know OFA is somehow promoted on MoveOn. Did you use the link I gave you? When I put in a Tampa zip code it doesn't really say what you seem to be suggesting, but I didn't go through the process of signing up. Love is a four letter word. |
